November 12, 2007 Christo Fifth Avenue hosted their fifth anniversary media party, celebrating the success they have been able to attain.

Christo premiered the first DIY styling curly hair online video and his phenomenal new Hair Rehab System. The elite guest list included Mr. and Mrs. Mavroyiannis

Ambassador of Cyprus, Loris Diran prominent fashion designer, Lolita Lopez of channel 11, beauty editors of major fashion magazines and celebrity friends and supporters. Guests enjoyed traditional Cypriot catering, fine collections of wine and champagne and a live disk jokey Angelo.

A Think Pink Event on Fifth Avenue In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month Calliopi Mavroyiannis, spouse of Ambassador of Cyprus to the United Nations and a breast cancer survivor, and Christo hosted a Think Pink event on November 5, 2007. The event took place at Christo's luxury hair salon on Fifth Avenue.

Dr. Lia Bartella is a professor of radiology at Cornell University and Weill Medical College; fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging; and director of the breast Imaging at Eastside Diagnostic Imaging gave a powerful speech

about breast care and how to overcome the fear. In her presentation, Dr. Bartella underlined the importance of early detection, diagnosis and treatment as the global issue of vital importance. Christo is a known "Psycohairrapist," who has great insight in terms of how hair can change your life in a positive way. Christo explained how to live through hair changes and the physiological factors all women go through when losing hair or changing hair textures. He talked about how to deal with the change and advised cancer patients on how to properly prepare their hair before and after chemotherapy.

Christo especially advised cancer patients to avoid spending thousands of dollars in purchasing a wig. Instead, he instructed them to get a shorter haircut or shave the head before chemotherapy. In doing so the patient will experience less stress from the hair loss and family members and colleagues won't be surprised by her new looks. The 80 and more guests of the Think Pink event were from the United Nations foreign missions, the Cypriot and Greek community and friends. They all enjoyed Pink Lemonade drinks, Pink champagne and pink cupcakes in the exceptional Christo Fifth Avenue hair salon.

The purpose of this social gathering was a simple, friendly forum of discussion and exchange of ideas and experiences to this sensible case. As Mrs. Mavroyiannis mentioned, "Whether it is a personal experience or that of a mother, sister, daughter, friend or spouse, we have all been touched by it in one way or another and it is the open caring and sharing of these experiences that brings greater awareness."

October 22, 2007 Christo has been invited to be the Conversations Guest for The Duke Conversations program at Duke University. This program provides undergraduate students with an opportunity to have intimate conversations with an individual of their own choosing, who they deem daring, thought-provoking, enlightening or inspirational, over a meal or in a small-group living room setting on campus or in Durham.

September 6th & 7th, 2007

The Daily Suite, a semi-annual event, hosted from atop the Bryant Park Hotel, provided the perfect pampering pause in between shows-offering refreshing beverages, relaxing treatments, and rejuvenating services! Hundreds of members of the global fashion media as well as celebrities, socialites and VIPs enjoyed the hospitality of The Daily Suite. This year, guests were treated to hair style "touch-up" sessions and consultations with celebrity hair stylist Christo of Christo Fifth Avenue.

May 14th, 2007 Chirsto Fifth Avenue hosted a fundraising event to Benefit Iris House. It was a great success. Hundreds of guests including celebrities attended. Over ten thousand dollars were raised!

April 1st ~ 9th, 2007 Christo travels to Amsterdam and his salon in Cyprus to do private presentations on Curlisto^TM Systems newest products!

March 11th & 12th, 2007 Christo was invited to teach 2 classes at this year International Beauty Show at the Jacob Javitz Center in NYC. Over 400 salon professionals attended and learned The Art of Curly Hair.

February 4th, 2007 Christo and his Curlisto^TM team provided hair and makeup for Loris Diran's Fall/Winter 2007 collection for men and women.

January, 2007 Christo is featured on CBS 2 news segment about Curly Hair. The filming took place in Christo Fifth Avenue salon in Manhattan.

January 15th, 2007 The Art of Curly Hair: Christo's 2nd Curly Hair Seminar was another success! about 25 women and even a few men gathered at the Christo Fifth Avenue to listen to Christo's curly hair advice and share their personal stories with the group. Christo displayed his new treatment, "Chemical Peel" for the hair, on our fabulous hair model, Jessica.
